Pretty slow day out at Rattlesnake. The water is way down, and most of the fish are really small (< 5 inches.) Kind of disappointing after such a great October of fishing on this lake last year. Tried type 4 sinking line, intermediate line, floating line with buggers, leeches, chironomids, and most everything in the fly box without much luck, other than 6 or 8 of these small rainbows. Didn't see a lot on the fish finder either. I wonder if the lake got fished out this year, or if the fish are all hiding under stumps.
