Got out on the lake around 3pm, enjoyed the last of the daylight as we trolled. Our first trip around the lake yeilded the 18" Cutbow (photo) and a 14" Rainbow. Seem both end were much better fishing than the deeper middle. Due to the water temp (60's) on the surface, I would assume the deeper would find us more trout... but not true! Caught 4 trout and 2 bass in total mainly in less than 6 feet of water. It was a very enjoyable fall fishing day and I will move Lake Desire to my list of desirable lake to fish!
