Fished Rattlesnake Lake with Steve and Troy.
They have fished the Lake for many years...my first time there.
Beautiful place...absolutely heavenly.
Great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Started late, 10:30 am start.
I caught my limit very quickly...the boys call me the "Fishing Machine".
2 triploid's 18" and 21" then 3 12" Specials.
I was using a Luhr Jensen Gold Hot Shot, Size 70.
So I took over driving the boat so Steve and Troy could fish.
Troy asked to borrow my Gold Hot Shot...smart man. :)
He started catching fish hand over fist...catching and releasing about 14 Rainbow and Kokanee in the 6" to 10" range.
He finally got 2 triploid's and ended up keeping 2 12" Kokanee.
Steve was using a copper nickel Dick Nite that got him very few bites...then he tried using a Rainbow Hot Shot...He got lots of bites but only got one small Rainbow which he released.
The weather was real hot...we got sun burned pretty good.
The wind was rough at times...but it would settle down.
Pretty choppy out there at times when the wind picks up.
Watch out for logs and stumps...this Lake has alot of them!~
Saw lots of fish being caught around the Lake.
Alot of nice friendly fisherman hanging out...saw a few familiar faces from Beaver Lake fishing.
Everyone seemed to be having a great fishing experience.
This lake is a must see...I give it 2 Thumbs Up!~
Fish On!~
