With the weather sort of crappy, I was stoked to hit up Stevens without the threat of being bothered by pleasure boaters. The wind was calm when I arrived but quickly picked up out of the Southeast and made trolling a fairly difficult task. Surface temps were right at 70 degrees and the thermocline was at about 20 feet. Didn't mark many fish and schools were non-existant. The only biters I found were near the Northwest shoreline in about 80' of water. I picked up fish on a mini hoochie and on a wedding ring type spinner rig but didn't keep any as they had no size to them. I got action at 40' down, trolling between 1.0 and 1.4 mph, but again the fish were about 5" to 6" long and not what I had expected from this lake. By 1:00pm I had the boat on the trailer and heading over to Kayak point to fish for some pinks from shore. I didn't see anyone else fishing while out on the lake, just a couple of die-hard wakeboarders and the occasional pleasure boater. At least it was a tranquil morning, I can't complain about that!

hanapaa808, I just caught kokanee at Stevens, red label herring sized. I picked up just one pink at Kayak point, actually McKee's Beach, the wind and the tides were both making it difficult to fish.
