Well I guess that will just about end the good fishing in that lake.

Have you read the "Selective Gear Rules"? The part about lures with one single-point barbless hook to be specific.
I don't think TB's comments were meant to be positive. Teal Lake is a small lake and can't tolerate the kind of pressure
Ripp is talking about. The lake is a special project of a local fly fishing club and needs to be supported. I think the club
has some special fish in terms of size planted.

Hey assholes dont hate on me or give me any of your childish attitude because I love to fish and fish often. I caught that fish and so did my son fallowing state rules according to the book and paid my $44 dollars to fish for the year. If you wanted to fish a lake everyday I'd never complain. And so what if I want my buddies to land a nice fish. Dont you want your buddies to also land nice fish when they fish. Grow up because I found a hot spot to land a fish. If you have a problem with me catching a fish in a public lake then QUIT stocking it. Fish on Fuckers! You Teal lake assholes are all selfish old bastards.

I think it's wonderful that you are able to take your wife and 3 year old fishing. The question is, does the Orange #2 mepps
you were using meet the rule regarding one single-point barbless hook? I think they come with a 3 point hook. You may
have cut 2 of the points off for all I know. I am retired and can't fish every day. And check the attitude.

yah if I wsnt going to fallow the rules I'd use worms. I can read the 10 signs they have posted!

Ripp, you will be the first one to bitch that there are no fish to catch after you and your budds rip them all out of there. I dont mind if you use lures as long as it is a single barbless hook and you pratice catch and release. Then hell yes go out and catch fish everyday.

Got one for you all. Special gears rule means I can use lures correct? Yes I am. My Dad's neighbor is a fish and gamer out of Skagit and he told me the legal meaning of lure. Listen up it's in the book a man made article complete with hooks, constructed with feathers, hair wood cork glass leather rubber yeah it says rubber or plastic. I asked him if rubber eggs then was considered a lure and according to the deff. it is. I asked him what to say if people told me it was bait. He told me," tell them when they leave a man made fly on the water it could also be called bait." He just made it clear not to use any scent or pre scented eggs or rubber worms like the Berkley Gulps. FISH ON!

Got a new one for you. The book says bait is anything that attracts fish by scent or flavor. So by default power eggs with out added scent isn't really bait. How many of you all knew that!

lol I knew after reading this report a few days ago that you'd catch hell for keeping a fish from there. Seriously though, if he's doing everything legal who cares if he's keeping the fish, it's within the rules so lay off it if it's all legal.

I don't understand the comment "tell them when they leave a man made fly on the water it could also be called bait." If it is tied as out lined in the rules how could it be considered bate? I wouldn't think rubber worms like the Berkley Gulps would be considered bate. Are they scented or flavored? Remember the one fish limit at Teal Lake. It has been mentioned to me when we catch and release we are not to use bait because the fish swallows it to deep and the hook can't be removed with killing the fish. I have been told it is in the rules. I haven't found it in the rules. Not real important to me, I use flies.
