Well time for another Panther report.
I headed out after a day of rain and working until 5. Got to the lake around 5:30 and cast off. The winds were kind of choppin up the lake but not real bad and they died down after an hour. So I started off with my shallow crank trolling out to the island. I got nothing until I hit the north side of the Island and landed a roughly 2 pounder. After that it was all small stuff until I had a total of 5. Most were caught on the silver and black shallow crank. I moved to the Mason shoreline and whipped out the longest cast of my life. I mean that crank was flying and I realized it was headed way into the shore so I tried to pull it back. At this point I realized thet the line and the crank were no longer joined togther in fishing bliss and I watched it sail 20' up a cedar tree to hang there mocking me. So if you are crusin the Mason side look up and see if you can find the crank I lost and wish upon it and maybe it will bring you luck.
So off to the fishing store I go for another $2.50 crank to replace the one I lost. :-)
