Another slow day on Tapps. Headed back to the south side of Tapps island where I had a follow the week before from a nice sized bass, started 2 docks away from where I had seen it and on about the 2nd cast I found him. About 2lbs, and a good start to the day. Things got better when we headed into a short dead end canal nearby. We had gotten several hits there the week before. Told the wife it looked good for muskie and sure enough about 2 casts later she caught a 28" tiger. I caught several more bass but nothing to take pictures of. On a side note the local golfers were not happy as we came back out from the canal and under the fairway of their course, they were making snide comments about our being there and saying that signs should be posted for boats to keep out. I have one thing to say to them, PISS OFF, it's a PUBLIC LAKE! Legaly they have no leg to stand on! Shouldn't have built their course over a public lake if they didn't want their game interupted. Boats have the right of way. If I get hassled again out there I will take it up with the state.
