I knew the lake would be tough since the spring fishing was real slow. Took my sister and my 8year old nephew out for some trout fishing. Got there around 6am, slight breeze and tried to find a spot to anchor. No luck still fishing where I normally get fish by trolling(past years). Trolling didn't produce a bite either. Nephew was bored until he started catching sun fish and then he proceeded to try and "teach" me how to fish. He had a great time since he was able to drive the boat and catch a snake at the boat launch on the way in. So, in essence, clear has not been the same as previous years. Only 3 other boats on the water by the time we left at 11am.
