We took the boat back here. I really enjoy this lake, reminds me of Sandy Shore Lake
on the North Olympic Peninsula(or at least what it use to look like...havn't been there in
many years) Saw a ton of topwater activity by bass and trout,so I used a popper in
a baby bass pattern. Caught several bass but none bigger then 2 pounds. I then rigged
up the kids(my son, nieces and nephews) with worm and bobber. They all caught tons
of small bass(around 4 inches) but would catch some a bit bigger from time to time.
I decided to start doing the same but put on a bigger hook and worm. I ended up
catching a hefty pumpkinseed.
I'll be loading up pics of all the lakes that we fished on our trip as soon as MY computer is up.
All fish were released, water was calm with clear sunny skies.
Can't wait to fish here again.
Sidenote,I made a few other trips here on my family vacation with similar results
and the busiest day only had 3 boats on the water...including myself.
Seems to be very little pressure,...well at least on this trip.
