We launched around 5:45am. Water temp started out at 60, warmed up to 63-64 by 10am. Weather was nice and sunny, lake was calm, not a lot of boat traffic. We fished several weedy areas, and shoreline areas. Probably saw a total of about 12 muskies, couldn't get any of them to follow or bite though. Just wouldn't do anything. We threw everything we had at them: bucktails of various colors, spinners of various colors, swimbaits, and jerkbaits. Absolutely nothing, zip, zilch, nada. Oh well, maybe next time. I will not be defeated by the esox!
