Fishing was alright. We arrived at 7 A.M. and tree No. 11 was already full. We pulled up anyway. Not much success with worms. We tried power bait. Same result. Stayed until 2:30 P.M and ended with 7 keepers. Just talked to friend and he said yellow corn by tree No. 11 and they had limited (20 fish) in 4 hrs. The trick: In about 25-30 ft of water drop the line off the side of the boat until it hits bottom. Then crank it up 3-5 revolutions on reel. Max of 10 minutes before hooking a pan size (8"-12") trout, although I have seen 18"-20" rainbows pulled in. Hope this helps, and good luck!

P.S. The fish from this lake smoke wonderfully, so the pan size of the fish is not a problem at all.

Well those are the best to eat but a big guy is always nice for the picture.....sounds like good fishing still! Right across the lake from tree 11 off to the left is also where I have hooked into some BIG GUYS!! i think they dont mark that one for a reason!.....When you see a dock that doesn't look like it goes up to anywhere.....anchor down and you'll hook into some good ones!!!!!
