Hit Clear lake at 5pm with my fishing partner and fished until 9pm. water temp 72-74. lake was treated earlier this year per the sign at the boat launch with some kind of weed killer. water very murky, visibility no more than 3 feet down. weeds were not killed, but many lily pads show signs of stress or poison. saw a few dinks and 2 small swirls, thats was it. needless to say, caught no bass at all. used top water plugs, frogs,spinner baits, jerk baits and Senkos, various colors. fished depths from 2-20 feet - nothing. the trout were not even rising. Yikes!

Not going back to this lake the rest of the year, hoping it recovers for next year.
