Stopped by Wilderness Lake Tuesday evening to see if my trusty slip bobber, white jig tipped with maggot would have much success on this Lake (this rig is working everywhere else!) Cast near boat launch near reeds with bait about 6-7 feet under surface. Jigged constantly to attract fish. Caught several small LMB in 7 - 9 " range and a few Sunfish, all C&R. Lost a 2-3 lb LMB that snatched the bait while swimming by. But it's OK. I just wanted to see my bobber dance, and again Wilderness delivers.
