Had a few hours to kill so I drove the 5 minutes to Green Lake from my house, inflated my float tube and got down to business. Nothing for about 1 hour using a sink tip line and a woolley bugger until I figured out that all the fish were still up near the surface in about 2 - 3 feet of water max. As soon as I switched to a floating fly line with first a size 8 Adams dry and then later a size 10 damselfly nymph I started catching fish. Average size was about 12 inches with two of them pushing the 16 inch mark. Total after 3 hours (11AM to 2PM)was 18 fish caught and released.
