Well I went actually 2 days to Panther and plan to go back in the moring again. I went the first day around 2 in the afternoon looking to do some evening bass fishing, but due to some really disrespectful skiiers that kept buzzing my boat on purpose, not much luck. So I setup right in the ski path (to get back at them and it worked because they couldn't run that route anymore forced them to stay further away) and landed a couple of 8" trout let both go and a eagle snagged one right after I released it I could feel the wing beats it was so cool.

So I returned this moring at 5:30 launched and headed toward the island. Used a Silver and Black popper since I had lost my only spinner the day before ( I really need to get more tackle anyone want to buy a kid). Laid into a 4+er right of the get go and he/she shook the hook just as I reached for it. Not 30 minutes later same area I hit one around 3 same deal.....

Landed a bunch around 1lb up until 11 then it started to get hot and the skiers were coming out. Mainly worked the island and the Mason county side of the lake to work the shade. If I can drag my rear out of bed earlier I will start on the Kitsap side and see how it goes but it takes awhile to get there in a 10 foot boat with a 14lb thrust trollin motor and fat guy in the back.

Nice job! The big girls on that lake seem to be few and far between lately! I'm afraid that some of the locals are taking the big ones out when they catch them. I've talked to more than a few people over there who insist that bass are just a nuisance fish to the beloved trout that get planted there! :) My wifes family owns the little cabin just to the left side of the launch, so I get out there and fish it whenever I can!
