Got out to the lake about 515am. Caught one fish all morning (4 hrs.). I it was a nice 16" rainbow 2 pounder. Caught it on the first cast. He had a buddy with him that hit my next cast, but I couldn't hook him. Didn't get so much as a nibble all the rest of the day.

It's been pretty slow here lately. There are still some good fish to catch here, and lately real worms either floating or resting on the bottom have been getting fish. Small and medium size large mouths and small mouths are still being caught regularly off the dock with real worms in the morning.

Thanks for the report. I was just wondering what time the gates at PIne Lake open? I would like to try to beat the swimmers before they get there.

Usually open by 6. I have been there twice at 5am and they have been locked. I have parked across the street at the school and walked over. It's not that long of a walk.
