Got down to the dock at the boathouse around 5 am and left around 3pm or so. Really, really tough day. A few 'bows where caught by others and i brought home 3. My portable fish finder was marking fish coming round the dock but they just weren't to interested in biting. Went thru all my regular tricks and came up empty. Didn't get my first hit til 9am, was casting half a nightcrawler (with no weight) and letting it drift down. That's how i ended up with the 3 trout. by 1pm gave up on trout and started working a piece of worm round the docks for perch, they weren't school up but got 8 good ones (they averaged a lil over 8 inches). Tough day and too dang hot.
