Quadfather and I hit up Serene for bass in my portabote. Fished from 6am to about 3pm. Caught and released many baby largemouth bass around the lilypads and docks. Except Quad caught one keeper footlong rainbow trout on his bass lure. For the first time, I learned how to fish plastics from him, and I showed him a few rapala tips. Great day on the water, which was about 72 degrees when we wrapped up. Very few other anglers out on this lake today. Also had fun watching big jets comming low overhead to land at Paine Field. One other point of excitement was when I was trying to get a lure unstuck from a dock, ran the boat into the dock, and knocked my running electric motor clear off of the mount. I hung onto the tiller and somehow got it shut down while it sputtered and splashed behind the boat. Wish I had a video of that action! :)
