Geneva part 1 , Finally had a consistant fish catching day . I caught many bass today. Nothing over 6#'s though =( . I'm still after that 9# + fish. todays best five went 5#8oz , 5#6oz , 5#2oz , 4# 2oz, 2# 14oz . I also had a nice one around 5# strike and miss my bait , arrrg. I uploaded pics 1 and 2 , but it looks as if they are having a problem accepting or recieving them atm. I'll wait for this report to post then repost with the pics if it didn't work out. Good luck and I hope you all had as much fun as I did today =).

Morning weather was cloudy but calm , then changed to overcast with slight breeze , then the sun started to pop out some and by the time we left the sky was clear and it was warm out.

water temp was 68 deg in the morning and 72 deg by 4pm.

all fish caught where in 3 feet or less of water and they where holding under docks.

slow rolling a chatter bait was the method used to catch all fish.

Thanks Steven =) , I'm far from being a pro though lol . I spend a lot of time on the water and I don't always report. I've had many days on the water this season where I've only caught one decent fish or have been skunked all together. I put in 11 hours on Geneva to catch these fish. The bite was active early on but then I fished for 5 hours without a bite and kept at it. Then when I did start catching fish again the strikes where slow and few and far between. I made so many cast that day with my chatterbait on my baitcaster that my arms where actually sore at the end of the day. Keep putting in T.O.W. and you'll be catching big bass and lots of them soon. Accurate casting makes a big difference as well and I"m still working on that too. I've fished many new lakes this season for the first time thanks to this website. Some of my slow days have been due to learning new water or at least trying too. Don't get frustrated if you don't have success your first time to a lake. I've been fishing south king county lakes like Geneva , Kilarney , star , dolloff , trout , desire , spring , just to name a few since the late 80's. So I kind of know these lakes a bit better then other lakes and have decent success at times on them. What really made Geneva a awesome bass lake was the fact that they killed all the fish in the lake and planted rainbows only. For a number of years everyone thought there was no bass in there when in fact they where thriving well. I miss those days =) . My PB from Geneva is 6# 12oz back in 96' .
