Went out to Deep Lake around Noon today, it started out to be a promising day the sun was shining the fish were jumping and the lake was calm. There were not an abundance of people on the lake today I saw 1 boat and around 15 or so fishermen and women. I started out with powerbait but not much was happening. So I switched from that to a bobber with around 36 inches of leader and a size 12 worm hook , I put a half a worm on it and a cheese marshmallow, BAM!!!! a hit just as the worm settled underneath the bobber, a little 12 inch stocker rainbow. Then all you heard in the distance was thunder and then all of a sudden a torrential downpour, but being a fisherman I "wadded" it out! I left the lake at 4 pm I caught a total of 14 fish today and they all measured up to 12-14 inches not much for size but a lot of fun to catch!
