Fished Mineral with my son. We were on the lake by 7:00 AM and trolled using wedding rings. My son added a worm to his set-up.. After two hours of no action, I inserted a small dodger ahead of my wedding ring. I then had several strikes and lost two. Two that I was able to land measured 11 and 12 inches. We changed the area of our troll to the end of the lake that is farthest from the boat launch where my son hooked into a 16 incher that made two runs causing his reel to sing a bit. I again had several hits, but was unable to reel them all the way in.
