Wife and I arrived around 8:30 am.A little late due to a few problems finding the lake.Weather was kinda hazy with a slight breeze.Water was rip-rapped and the surface temp was from 72 to 75.Trolled around for maybe 3 hours just checking out the lake.Tried many lures and a few flys. Finally my wife landed a 14 inch bow on a white/red with black spots flatfish. We trolled a few more hours stopping anywhere the fishfinder showed big fish on the bottom and dunking some worms to no effect.About 1:00 we decided to leave and headed for the launch.Got to the launch and some yahoos were launching but very slowly. The outboard wouldn't start, the boat wasn't loaded, one guy headed to the restroom while the other guy talked on his cell phone. So we decided to fish some more.Trolled half way around the lake when I saw a fishy looking spot up towards shore. We anchored in 16 feet of water and started casting worms. At first we got nothing but around 2:00 the fish started biting. In the next hour and a half I landed my limit and my wife caught 1 while missing 6 or 7 fish...her hooksets need work(as a kid she fished down south for bass with her dad which might explain her spasmodic hooksets)Anyways really liked this lake gonna try for the kokes next time.
