Finally had a decent day here.Still cant figure the big ones out but landed three stockers and lost three more.Fish finder shows this lake as being loaded with fish,a lot of them look to be large. All along the boat launch side and the opposite bank show tons of fish.In fact right in front of the launch, maybe 20 feet beyond where the shore fisherman can reach, there are tons of fish.Fish were holding at seven to ten feet down in fourteen feet of water.Missed one with a worm seven feet under a bobber then hooked the next one.Missed two on far bank trolling a spinner then caught two in maybe ten minutes right in front of the launch

Did you try power bait? That is what I heard catches the big ones. I haven't used it and haven't caught any big ones but I have seen others with them.

A prince nymph trolled slow half way across lake,up and down center, works well. Long leader with very small or no weight. It has worked good for me. Larger ones like it. Your right fish finders show a lot of fish. The lake is filled with their food. Just have the flavor they like the best or something that looks like it..

Will definately give the prince nymph a try, havent done real well with the fly pole this year although I did catch my first 2 fish of the year on it.Thanks.Toni,I did not try power bait,I've only tried it a few times but did catch some fish on it.Don't like the way it gets on your hands and wont come off..hehe.I do use power eggs under a worm a lot.If nothing else they keep the worm in place.
