Went out to Bear Lake with my son, and our friends in Spokane. Fished the North End of the lake by the lilypads. We were using worms, some of us on the bottom, some of us on the top with a bobber. I had 3 bites, landed one perch, and my son landed a perch as well. A few weeks back our friend caught four catfish off of worms down in the lilypads. Are there any trout in the lake?

Yes there are trout, but it is kind of a rare catch out of there. There are some big bass in there though!!!

A few weeks back my older son took our grandson's out for some bass fishing there but also witnessed a young man and his father pull out a stringer of trout all over 18'" and up to 3lbs! They were trolling with powerbait and a worm...

Do you know if this is a kids only fishing lake or can adults fish it also?

It is a juvenile lake but you can fish it with your kids.

ya there are some trout i caught a brown trout and some rainbows but the weird thing is it seems all the browns hang out by the lily pads thats were we caught all are browns. and there is some big bass in their and cat fish to i caught a 4lb bass out of bear lake!!
