Launched boat around 4pm. Weather was decent, a little cloudy and a little light rain, avoided the heavier rains and wind. Bite did not come on until after 6pm.Used Pop-Rs and crankbait exclusively. Caught a handful of LM in about 2 hours, all decent sized. The two pictures are the best ones, a 4 pounder and a 3.5 pounder. If you are familiar with the lake, you'll know exactly where I caught most of my fish by looking at the pictures. Did not get them in the super shallows, pulled them out of the thicker weed cover in 6-10 feet of water. I think too many people make the mistake of only fishing LM in 2-5 feet of water. I am not big on flipping in weeds (now lily pads are another story), i'll always go to cranks or spinners or topwater first and try to pull them out. Cranks in weeds is tough, but on Ohop that is how I always get them.

Sweet Day of fishing its sounds like to me!
Did you happen to see if the Bows were biting for people pretty frequently?

No, I don't think so. I talked to a few people on my way in and out. A couple people had gotten som trout, but most did not have much luck.
