Spent the weekend at Pearrygin Lake. It was partly cloudy most of the weekend with a little bit of rain on Friday and the fishing was great. Trolled between the creek in-flow and out-flow in the northwest corner using flatfish. Most were rainbows around 12" with a few around 16" and two nice brown trout (the one pictured was between 2 and 3 lbs). My dad caught his brown by hooking some line that was wrapped around it that had made a deep gash in its back, just a reminder to throw all your used line in a trash can instead of leaving it wherever. The best times to fish were in the morning before the ski boats were on the lake and in the evening after the ski boats were done.Overall it was a great weekend on a great but very crowded lake.
