Fished the evening with my fiance and enjoyed some nice weather before the weekend rain hit. I used a weedless texas rig with my favorite worm, she used a small jerkbait. I caught a nice 1.5lb lmb with the worm and had no bites on the jerkbait which surprised me because I always get fish on this lake with it.

Catch and release, this lake is too precious to be removing what little bass population exists, I hope the rest of you do the same! :)

I feel you man !! This lake used to be awesome, at least so I was told and now its not that great at all. I still try it from time to time.

Desire used to be very good for bass. I caught 20 bass all over 2# with a buzzbait (two of them where 7# and one 8# the year the built the new dock and dug out the new launch. The entire lake was muddied up from the construction of the boatlaunch. It was a day of fishing I'll never forget.

caught a four pounder last sunday. the big ones are still there.
