The Potholes Res, fishing with 2 friends, started around 10 AM. After snooping around the sand dunes we went trolling but the wind came up so we just let the wind blow us across the lake in front of the state park boat launch. At 1215 my gang flasher and wedding ring/worm felt like it was hit by a truck, about 5 minutes later we netted a 4.5lbs rainbow. WOW! What a feeling, my son had a similar hit about 10 minutes later but on the second jump it threw the hook. These were the only 2 fish we felt all day. We got a little wet but had fun and great conversation...
