Got on the water about 8:45 p.m. with my brother, wife, nephew and two freinds. Started catching 8" to 10" bows right as the first line hit the bottom. That was about the average size all night with the exception of a healthy 17" bow and a 16" brown. Those big boys were caught on a mini roostertal baited with a bit of worm three feet off the bottum. In this case, like so many others a little bit bigger bait caught the bigger fish. I encourage any night fisherman to try this set up it may work surprisingly well and you may hit the big one. Let the fish take it and nibble for a few extra seconds because he did miss a few more bites then the rest of us. Everybody caught there limit by 2:30 a.m., as for me, it was the best time i've had on the water in a long time. They should taste awsome after being smoked and canned. Good luck out there!
