Launched the boat around 4:30pm. Water was very warm, around 70. Started out trolling for trout, went up and down the entire length of the lake, both shorelines. Got a couple of smaller ones, also a bullhead. Fished for bass around 7pm, a few smaller ones but nothing substantial or exciting. There appears to be a couple of great bass areas: the shoreline on the west side of the lake, and the entire south end of the lake. But like I stated earlier, very little bass activity. I threw everything but the kitchen sink at them (frogs, small crankbaits, senkos, 7 inch power worms, black and blue jig/crawler combo, and a pop r). I am guessing the fish are a bit inactive after spawning and have moved to deeper, but figured they'd be out feeding as the sun set. I guess I was wrong or it was just not my day on Ohop.
