Fished hard for about 12 Bass between two of us. The water surface temperature is in the middle 70's, the bass are 90% off the beds, and there are bass fry in the weeds. Our top bass was about 18.75" with our smallest bass probably about 8".

The only real pattern was the fish were where they wanted to be. I susgest that Elokia will be a little slow until the females and males have rested up, but in a week or so, FISH ON!

PS, the dollar pads are just now starting to thicken, so we could actually work spinner bait through most of them. The other weeds are starting to grow fast, faster then last year. Please be careful with your outboard motor. Last year I pluged the water pump on my outboard with weed pieces. Fortunately I know how to field clean it. Be careful when motoring on the lake so you don't destroy your expensive outboard. They told me at Jerry's Landing that the state is going to do some selective weed treatment at some of the landowners shore in a couple of weeks, so if they do that we will see some pattern changes.
