We hit the top of the North end of the lake about 7:00 am. Fished floating lines with sink tips tied to carey specials. Landed 4 fish. Threw small damsel flies into the weeds and got another one. Did not use any cronimeds. Guy fishing them with strike indicator/bober rigs were cleaning up near the weeds and in the center of the lake. Most were anchored up. Were we off the lake by noon.

So how big were the fish? I ask only because of the killing of the lake about two years ago (?) can't remember exactly which year it was, but very recent. But I figured it would take a few years for the current newly introduced fish to gain some size. Or maybe they planted larger than usual fish in the lake. Thanks for the report.

I am curious about size also. Had some great times up there with a bandana tied around my nose and mouth during that mayfly hatch. Also, how is the road going in?
