Well we got to the lake at 6 caught a couple fish and moved down the lake to the other side. By 9:30 we were surrounded by boats in our spot, fished for a while and decided to move as there were boats just all around us, went to start boat and battery was dead, it was like watching cockroaches when the lights turn on, as soon as the boats around us sensed we were having issues they all but one ( was at least 15 boats within 20 yards)pulled anchor and took off. the only boat that stuck around was a very nice elderly couple with just a trolling motor. Well we had one oar so I sat on the front of the boat and paddled for about an hour and a half many boats stopped to say aww too bad but not one offered any help. I have helped so many boaters and cars broke on the side of the road I couldnt believe how these people acted. Williams was my favorite lake , but after this I dont even wanbt to be on the water with the people who go out there. One group of guys did help my wife hold the boat at the launch while I was getting the trailer, and if you read this THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. The rest of the people who were so apathetic....well lets just say one day youll be broke down somewhere and maybe you will see what its like. ( I have a small boat that could have been towed by any boat on the water with a gas engine.) Fishing was good for the first couple hours though.
