Got out on the lake at 6:15am, and started trolling North side of 520 Bridge. Had a fish on the line with in 30 seconds and pulled in a 21" Cutt. Fished until 10:30, but no more strikes. This is the first fish I have caught trolling (I am very new to boat fishing), so it was a very good day. Plan to go again this Saturday, but am shooting to get out by 5:30am this time.

Nice fish. Got any pics? Im new to fishing on that lake as well. Where did you launch and what were you trolling? Were you using down riggers? I could use all the tips as i can get aswell.
Thanks

If you have a boat and your not fishing for small mouth bass your missing some of the most kick ass fishing in the state......... lake washington should be exploding with small mouth on beds right now and largemouth too..... usually takes 18 to 21 pounds for a five fish tournament to do any good at all on lake washington... world class lake any time any place..........

Hanapaa808:
Was trolling a wedding ring behind a red and silver flaser. Wedding Ring was baited with canned corn. Yes, used a downrigger. I don't lauch. I have my boat moored in Lake Union (28' Wellcraft Cruiser.....not a fishing boat, but got it set up to fish).
