Launched boat at 6:30am. A bit chilly and windy at times. Started on North end, got 3 SM on curly tails, didn't get any bites on spinners or jigs. Went to South end, looked for LM but didn't see any; didn't get any bites on spinners. Went back to the North end once the sun came out, fished a couple of different rocky/sandy points, caught my biggest fish of the day, a 3lb SM and a 2lb SM. Caught a couple more smaller ones as well. Saw the biggest fish of the day trailing my 2lb as I brought it in, no luck in trying to catch it though. These SM were caught on blue/black jig/crawler and grey curly tails, about 15-20 feet of water. Hopped jig and curly tails off the bottom. The lake is very clear, but couldn't quite see the beds in 15-20 feet of water, just a bit too deep for me; I would assume they were though. My two pics are not really good, that's about as good as I can do holding the fish in one hand and my camera phone in the other.
