Best fishing in years today. We got on the water just after sunrise around 5:45 and headed for the north end of the lake. As soon as the our lines hit 80 pulls out we were catching fish! We were using pop gear and red wedding ring on one line and pop gear and green wedding ring on the other both did equally well. Stuck about 3 split shot on each line with worms. Water temp was around 58 degrees. We trolled from the new boat launch to the condos at .8 to 1.2mph. Had our limit and was on the way home by 9am. Tons of fish on the graph around 50feet all day but I doubt out lines made it that deep.

Those were probably the kokanee down there. I've been noticing the kokanee fisherman using downriggers. Always kinda gives me a chuckle seeing those boats rigged for salmon fishing, with little trout poles on dowriggers. But hey, if it works, it works, kokes are a mighty tasty fish. I've never spent much time on the north end of the lake, but I'm glad to hear that there's good fishin up there also.

The big one was 13in and a pound and the rest were around 9in i guess, but they just stocked the lake for the first so I expected smaller. I agree I do fell dumb with my 4lb test line on the downrigger when the old guy in the 12foot with the electric motor is doing just fine with out.
