Hit up Terrell with the wife, baby girl and a buddy. Pretty much went out just to have some fun. The girls caught a few perch on some Gulp Crawlers under a bobber. My buddy was just drinking beers and cane pole fishing, messing around and caught a few. I caught both the smallest and largest fish of the day. The smallest trout I have ever seen tried to swallow my rig and failed. I let him go on to be bass food. I nailed a nice trip between to the two docks. Earlier I had a feisty one do a few areobatics then throw the hook near the boat. I failed to set the hook on a couple others. I switched out hooks a bit before I landed the one I took home. He sure was tasty. i filleted him up and grilled him to perfection. Dang nice fish. I played around trying to catch some bass but no luck. We all had tons of fun. My daughter took a nap on the bottom of the boat, and I got a nice sunburn. I can't wait to get out there again and have at it.
