The crappie only started to bite in the later afternoon prior to sunset. They range is size from 13 inches and down, has lots of fun catching them! Caught more then two dozen crappie between the two of us, a couple largemouth bass and five bluegills.

Temperature sunny in the high 70's with a slight wind that kept changing directions.

Newman lake is East of Spokane, just follow Trent out East bound and you can't miss it. Public launch has signs leading to it from Trent. No dock but decent ramp. Great bass lake!!
