Wow! What a beautiful morning to fish. Calm, warm and sunny weather mixed with willing fish and wonderful children. This morning bite on the indeterminant flat just below the Bar continues unabated. Pull those little F-7 purple glow flatfish (or whatever you have confidence in) within 5 feet of the bottom. Really focus your efforts when the bottom dips below 200 feet. Also, redouble your effort with your "off lines" when you have one fish hooked up. Where one bit there are probably more biters. Double hookups are becoming routine. When the bite slows down mid to late morning hit the 240's water in the center channel of the lake just out from Rocky Point. We have been finding a lot of 3 to 5 inch, young of the year lakers mixed with the shrimp in the stomach contents of these fish. As you can see, most fish have been between 3.75 and 7 pounds. While not huge, these are a nice average. Mix that with the chance for a double digit monster Mack or a beautiful Lake Chelan Landlocked King and enjoy. Strap on your patience at the Mill Bay boat launch. With the water still in the beginning stages of coming up there is limited dock space during launching and retrieval.
Take Care and tight lines,
