My buddies and I did our annual trip to Jameson Lake this last weekend. We started fishing Friday morning around 9:00am. Trolling from the boats proved to be very slow with only a couple bites. After lunch, we all fished from the shore just before the Jack's Resort launch area. Using rainbow powerbait, and fishing on the bottom, I hooked into 2 good sized trout. The larger of the two was a hold over and the other was a triploid. 2 of my friends that day also got triploids in the 15" range.

We also fished Saturday with the same results in the early afternoon.

Curious? Is the road in still a nasty washboard. I haven't been there for 2 years because the road was the pits.

It wasn't as bad as it's been in years past. I think they went through and graded it last summer or something. It seemed too that the dust was down a considerable amount as well.

Went there with a friend about two weeks ago. The road is washboard but nothing to bad unless you have to go to the bathroom really bad!.
