Beautiful day on the water. Not much action. I think the water is still a bit cold. 44 in the shallows and 38 in the middle. Caught the one fish all day but we weren't going for the those little koke's either. My buddy Larry holding up his first and biggest Mac to date, 10# plus or minus a few oz (the fish was wiggling).

Right on thanks , is that like cle elum lake like salmon la sac area and if so is the fishing good , and what can you catch from that lake thanks Jacob~

To answer all the questions....
Some people like to eat them, they're a Char so the meat is white and not as firm as a trout or salmon. I eat them.
Yes Cle Elum is on the way Salmon La Sac and I've caught Bows, Lakers and Kokes and I've been told by a local that it holds browns and burbot too.

Mackinaw taste great. I cook them on the grill for 20 minutes (flipping after 10 minutes). Coat some foil with butter (or olive oil), then put a little seasoning and lemon juice on each side of the fish. Wrap it in the foil, and throw it on the grill. Very simple, very tasty, and very healthy.
