Ok. started the day trying to find largemouths along the shoreline. Ended up fishing for trout just to put a few in the boat. Fished just a little ways away from the landing after seeing a bunch of trout surfacing early. use powerbait on a 2 ft. leader in 6 ft. of water and slayed them. caught five and missed 15 within an hour. switch over to tube bait for bass and ended up catching another trout by the logs on the far northwest corner. All in all a good day of fishing. kept five for the freezer and threw the other one(most healthy) back to fight another day. will be some good eattin!!

Good luck out there!

Sounds exactly like a trip I took with my nephew Dustin from Greenbank last year. Went after Bass, only to catch a mess of planter rainbow on crappie jigs. Dustin's biggest Bow was caught right around those same logs at the east end of the lake on a black plastic worm. It went right at 15". Beautiful lake though...did you try Cambel Lake at all? TJM

All of them seem to be this years plants as they all seem to be out of a cookie cutter. 12-14 inches in length. I have been fishing campbell since january and have only had one small nibble to show for it. If they have planted it, it should be good for trout in the far upper right corner in about 4-6ft of water using almost anything. Go to the lilly pad area and within about 100 yards. last year it was the hot spot right before and just after they planted it. Jigmiester, i c you have done a lot of fishing over in east side. I would love to get over there for some good walleyes and bass. thinking banks?? what you think?
