Hit Washington for a half day today hoping to find some new spots. Temp is anywhere from 54-57, and I think most of the fish are still in a prespawn mode hanging a little deeper. I fished a few different styles of jerkbaits for most of the morning, and never had a follow, also threw a swimbait for a bit and a LV500, no followers on any of those either. Switched back to a crankbait and hit two pretty quickly in about a 100 yd stretch, and then left that area to go find some similiar stuff elsewhere and to try to save that one for the tournament, largest was 17.5 inches. The fish don't seem to be up in the docks much yet, which really kinda surprises me. Hoping to get out one more time this week before the mad rush of tourney guys hit it this weekend! See ya on the water! - Dave

thanks crankster, and by the way I fish out of a TR21 X, it's red with silver accents, if you see me, be sure to come up and say hi! I'll be out there again tomorrow! - Dave

Hi Dustin, I don't tend to fish that area of the lake too much, but I was in that vicinity a little closer to the launch just before I pulled out at Coulon, so if you were out there you might have seen me. You also have a PM waiting for you, with a few more details you might find helpful. Tight Lines! - Dave
