This time the start and finish were pretty good and their was a lull in the middle. Mack Bar is starting to hold some fish again. Last year May and June were good months for fish up on the "Bar". We picked up a couple at the start on the Bar in the 120's depths. The remainder came in the "holes" that dimple the indeterminate flat between the Bar and the point at Minneapolis Beach. These Holes are 205' to 215' deep surrounded by "flats" that are typically from 176' to 190' deep. The big producers were T-4 and Luminous Chartreuse Flatfish at 1.4 to 1.6 mph. Two of the eight came on Wobblers. There have been a lot more small fish in the stomach contents over the past couple of weeks than there were in the previous couple of months. Mostly they are juvenile Macks and small kokanee. It was a great morning on the lake.
