Well, rain or shine I was going to get out and try my new toon! Lots of fun being able to cover lots of water and cover.

Anyway, I hit up Lk Desire at about 830-9am to try for some Bucket Mouths around the docks and lilly pads starting to come up. I fished for about 2 hrs before getting my 1st fish of the 2009 season. I was about 5 docks down from the main dock, using a green zoom fluke bait.

I was trying to re-position my toon and had the bait in water and took a couple of rows and boom there was the hit..LG Mouth. It was not huge, but it was a keeper. I released it back..

Furthermore, it was fun getting out using toon for 1st time this season and coming away with something.
