This report is a little late in coming, but it's my first posting on this site. Went out on Sammamish for a few hours hoping to find some largemouth that had moved up shallow, but water temp was still a bit too cold at about 55 degrees. After flipping and pitching a smallie beaver for an hour with only one small hit, I moved to some rock piles and started throwing 3/8 oz football heads with a yamomoto 176 (brown with black flake) spider grub. The wind picked up so I ran to a rocky point where I managed to catch this smallie that went just under 3 lbs, in about 15 feet of water. Hard to take a pic of a fish while you're holding it, but gave it a shot anyways. Heading out to Lake Washington tomorrow to do a little scouting and prefishing for the upcoming NW Bass tourney. Tight lines! Dave
