Went down to green lake last weekend and caught 2 sculpins. (prickley sculpins are small in freshwater) I saw 2 largemouth bass going for my crawdad lure/jig. NO TAKERS!!! SHOOT! Then went for rainbow trout only two bites... also bubba800 went with me... he caught two 10inch planters couple ither guy were there the one guy was kinda fly fishing got 1 14 inch trip. and 2 more 10 inch planters and that was it.

Too bad fishingboy. I was out there with the same results. I also saw two LMB (1 pushing 5-6 lbs) as I was leaving and tried throwing a small spinnerbait, but they didn't seem interested at all. The big one looked like Two-Face from Batman. He/She had black on one side and green on the other. weird.

i only caught one trout total my last 2 trips there combined. Did the bite really slow down for some odd reason? I heard fishing is suppose to be good till June when the lake warms up, then the trout swim deeper. Can anybody confirm this? Thanks
