Acually FlippinFool, BassFanatic and myself hit Merdian at 6:30 AM 1st,..we fooled around for about 2 hours, came up empty and deciced 2 head 2 WaWa since it was close 2 home. Water temp at Meridian had cooled a bit from last Wednesday,..56 degrees,..last week it was almost 59,..got 2 WaWa at about 10:15 AM and launched from the Hydo-Pitts,..water temp was about 53,..headed North right away,..HaHa,..trying 2 keep up with Flips Skeeter 225 was a bit of a challenge,..he'd always get 2 a spot at least 2-3 mins before I did,..we hit some shallow cover looking for LMB,..throwing Jigs-Spinners-Cranks,..no takers,..while throwing a Crank I had a small 10" RBT hit it and pulled it up 2 show the guys befor it shook off,..that was kinda funny,..after a few we headed back South 2 check the Mercer Slough for some Greenies,..trolled all the way back to the end of the Channel,..nothing,..came back out and decided 2 throw a Chartruese Spinner at some docks because the water was so murky,..worked the area and then the Lil Smallie hit,..Bass went about 1 pound,..felt good 2 finally get a tug even though it was a small Bass,..got one more on the West side of Mercer Island on a Jointed Perch Rap about 1.5 LB,..I wasn't gonna post a pic but since it was my 1st Bass of 09 I couldn't pass it up.

Good to see you got the skunk off your bassboat BB. hopefully i can catch a nice largie tomorrow. But at the same time any largie for the rest of the year is justa bonus fish.... but i still need to catch a 5lb smallie to finish up my WA bass goals for the year!
