Went to beehive Monday night hoping to get a kid a first fish and usually beehive would be perfect for this but this is not the beehive of old. The water level is way down, it was very crowded and the bite was not on. And on top of this, i felt like the road in was more washboarded than ever. I saw 2 very small fish being landed down the bank from me but that was it.

I threw powerbait powereggs out for the kid and threw some roostertails while we waited.

I dont think i am going back this year.
