Went out to Bosworth today for the first time. Weather report Monday night "sunny, 75, clouds moving in over night". 4:30pm Tuesday RAINING LIKE HELL!!! Got to the lake at 6:30pm. All I had with me was a rain coat I didn't think I would need anything else since it was supposed to be 75 degrees. Start down the shore saw a buddy in another boat catch a small fish. As we fished down the docks I saw something white flash. It was a male on a bed fanning it. Nice looking fish. Then the female was there. Looks good we can tuck up by this dock hold us out of the wind and fish. They picked me up 5 times and I got the hook in her once. My buddy Curtis who is very new to the bass fishing game started to reel up and it was "heavy". So he set the hook. Short quick fight 2.3 lb large mouth in the boat his first of the year. nice job Curtis. I hooked the female once more but she shook free. Oh well next time and maybe it will be nice weather. All other fish were caught on drop shot and grubs. Water temp was 64
